We work from a photo. The face is sculpted by hand over a wire armature, the figurine is fired, then painted layer by layer. That is why a shaker of your dad looks like no other.

Tell us what is characteristic: the moustache, the hat he never takes off, the football shirt, the coffee mug. One sentence in the order note is enough. The likeness comes from the photo; the character comes from you.
