Terms of Service

These terms govern the relationship between Solnichki and you as a customer when you order from solnichki.com. By confirming an order, you accept these terms.
1. General
Solnichki is a small family-run business registered in Bulgaria. Full company details (legal name, registration number, registered office and correspondence address) will be added here before the public launch. Solnichki sells handmade ceramic salt and pepper shakers: both as custom orders (sculpted from photos and descriptions you provide) and as ready-made pieces from our catalog.
2. Definitions
"Site" means solnichki.com. "Customer" means an individual placing an order through the Site. "Custom order" or "personalised order" means a shaker sculpted from specific photos, descriptions or characteristics provided by the customer. "Catalog item" means a ready-made shaker from our catalog that is not personalised.
3. Placing an order and contract formation
Orders are placed online through the Site. After you complete payment (or confirm a bank transfer), you receive a confirmation email. The contract between you and Solnichki is formed at the moment we confirm the order by email. We reserve the right to refuse an order if the submitted photos or descriptions contain unsuitable content (violence, hate, nudity involving minors, etc.) or if the technical quality of the photos does not allow for a faithful likeness. In such a case we refund the full amount paid.
4. Pricing and payment
Prices on the Site are shown in euro (€) and include VAT. Current pricing is: €46 (single figurine), €92 (couple) and €176 (family). Delivery anywhere in Bulgaria is €5, added to the total at checkout. Payment is made by credit/debit card via Stripe (Visa, Mastercard) or by bank transfer. For bank transfers, an order is treated as paid once the funds arrive in our account. If the transfer does not arrive within 7 calendar days, the order is automatically cancelled.
5. Production and lead time
Every order is made by hand, individually. The standard production time is up to 10 working days from confirmation of payment. During peak periods (holidays, campaigns) the lead time may be longer, in which case we notify you in advance. The production steps (receiving the photos, sculpting, firing, hand-painting and packaging) are described on the Process page.
6. Shipping
We ship only within Bulgaria, via Econt. Delivery costs €5 and is added to the order total at checkout. Once the order is handed to the courier, you receive an email with a tracking number. Econt delivery typically takes 1 to 3 working days depending on location. Solnichki is not responsible for delays caused by the courier.
7. Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from your order within 14 days of receipt, without giving any reason, provided the product is NOT made to your individual specification. Catalog items may be returned within 14 days of receipt in their original condition and packaging; the cost of return shipping is borne by the customer. Personalised orders (sculpted from your photos or descriptions) are excluded from the right of withdrawal under Article 57(3) of the Bulgarian Consumer Protection Act and Article 16(c) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU, because they constitute goods made to the consumer's individual specification. This exclusion does not affect your right to remedy in case of a defect (section 8).
8. Warranty and complaints
We are liable for any lack of conformity that becomes apparent within 2 years of delivery, in accordance with the Bulgarian Consumer Protection Act. If a shaker arrives broken, damaged or with an obvious manufacturing defect, take a photo within 48 hours of receipt and write to solnichki.bg@gmail.com. We resolve each case individually, usually by replacement or repair, and where that is not possible, by refund. Differences in individual likeness on personalised pieces (e.g. "it doesn't look enough like them") are handled in good faith by both sides but are not, by themselves, grounds for cancelling an order, since handwork is by nature subjective.
9. Liability
Solnichki is liable in accordance with Bulgarian law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages except in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence. Our total liability for any given order is limited to the value of that order.
10. Personal data
Processing of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms following changes in legislation, in our provider stack, or in our business practices. The version applicable to your specific order is the one in force at the time the order is confirmed.
12. Dispute resolution
We try to resolve every dispute amicably and quickly. If we cannot, you have the right to contact the Bulgarian Consumer Protection Commission (kzp.bg) or the EU online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/odr. Applicable law is Bulgarian; the competent court is the relevant Bulgarian court.
